This song was written at a very dark time in my life, where I felt I was being drawn out of my ego-centric greed, to be more caring for the needs of others. I was being called to look past my pain to the needs of others that were much greater. It felt more like a storm then a warm and fuzzy Sunday School coloring book lesson.
